Except for our Family tours, all Get Up and Go! Tour itineraries are Multi-Sport / Hiking tours, with virtually all multi-sport activities (and almost everything else) included in the tour price.

Please keep this in mind when comparing Get Up & Go! to other “budget” tour companies (many of which aren’t even based in Alaska): We include much, much more in the price!

Like what? Well, along with great daily hiking, virtually all the multi-sport activities, in-tour scenic flights, ferries, and water taxis; and one to three nights of indoor accommodations per week on ‘Camp & Cabin’ tours (and every night, on lodge-based tours, of course).

These other, ostensibly cheaper companies offer bare-bone trips with no included flights or indoor accommodations. Worse, with many of the budget operators you have to pay extra once you get here to actually do any of the uniquely Alaskan activities that you are actually coming up here to experience! And many aren’t even licensed, permitted or insured: be sure to ask any would-be competitors if they are in fact legit!

Don’t be fooled, Get Up and Go! Tours offers by far the best value for the money, has been locally owned and owner-operated for twenty-five years (!), and has by far the most experienced guiding staff as well, with NO HIDDEN EXTRA COSTS!
